Something I love to do is to combine art with something useful. This printable does that perfectly. Maybe you’re looking for a Bible verse for a lonely woman. Maybe you need Bible verses when you feel like no one cares.
Hey, we’ve all been there. This world can really throw some punches. And that’s where getting serious – as in proactive – about Bible usage can help.
Find those verses that resonate with you right now. Add some simple but beautiful artwork. (Honestly, you can really do this yourself, but if you’d rather not, then just use mine or another artist’s. It’s fine.) Print and carry with you everywhere…and I do mean EVERYWHERE. If you use Bible verses like affirmations (which they are) you can sink them deep inside your heart and over time this can impact how you feel.
I know it’s only one thing, but what a thing! Use Bible verses when you feel alone to remind yourself that actually you’re very much not alone. The Creator of the Universe is with you right now. Right now! I have found taking a few minutes and reminding myself of this truth, by looking in a mirror and reciting this verse to myself – even inserting my name so I *know* God is talking to me personally – brings peace and strength with practice.
This is different for everyone but you won’t know how it works for you until you try. And this particular scripture for the lonely and brokenhearted from Isaiah is so personal in tone, isn’t it? And I love adding some simple elegant watercolor leaves to this tiny card. It simply adds to the genuine beauty of the words.
And don’t forget, after you soak up this card textually and visually, print out a few more, write a simple encouraging message on the back and give away to a few friends you know who could also use this powerful, positive message.
Here’s the same verse with slightly different artwork so you can have more than one for yourself and plenty to share.
So next time you feel you need a scripture for the lonely and broken hearted, remember to not just read these scriptures, but soak in them everyday and help others to do the same.
In other words, set your mind, heart and spirit every day on these timeless truths.
Blessings.
