Watercolor at Christmastime
Watercolor is so beautiful and perfect for all kinds of uses.
I created these modern Farmhouse wreath printables because wreaths appeal to many people, making them the ideal decor and gift.
If you want to see my design process for these little beauties AND get these free printables in a slightly larger (5×7) size, then get my Pink Heart Digest here.
Printables for Note Cards
Printables make easy and fun note cards. But please don’t stop there!
As long as you use these wreaths (or any of my artwork) for personal and gift use only, you are welcome to use the digital files in a variety of ways.
These work great as Christmas tags, you can use them in scrapbooking projects, to pretty up a Christmas letterhead or to spruce up a printable holiday game.
You could use them on place cards at your dinner table. Or print and hang in mini frames along your mantle (behind those stockings!).
Want the full-sized, 300 dpi, version of these beautiful watercolor printables like in this photo? I’ve bundled them for your convenience in my Etsy Shop.
Why Wreaths?
That’s a good question. I love to paint with watercolors and watercolor pencils and ink. And I paint a wide variety of topics and objects.
Also, I really enjoy painting objects that I know people love – but generally exist in other formats. Such as wreaths. (Check out my watercolor birdhouse for another example of this idea.)
After all, how many wreaths can you hang and use at once? There’s definitely a limit on wreath-usage in a home, but framing prints of beautiful wreaths means you can hang a collection neatly on a wall and enjoy them all year round.
Makes me happy just thinking about it.
Plus, wreath prints are a beautiful addition to Christmas decor. Pretty much a win-win all around.
Here Are Your Free Watercolor Wreath Cards!
This pdf download is designed to print on a standard 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of white cardstock (and it never hurts to do a test print). After printing, cleanly cut the cards apart (I suggest a paper cutter for best results).
Enjoy your cards!

Flat Printable Wreath Cards – So Many Uses
It’s true, there’s a lot you can do with a set of beautiful flat cards.
(Just to be clear, flat cards are a one-piece card that does NOT fold over. Simple and elegant.)
You can use them as encouraging note cards to send to friends and family, of course. That is obvious (and thoughtful!).
You can print off a set of them and give as a gift. You can purchase envelopes at stores like Walmart or online at Amazon, if you want to include them in your gift.
Or you can make your own envelopes (aren’t you the clever one?!). Here’s a link to a great envelope making tuturial.
You can use flat cards as beautiful list pads. Jot your notes on the back of each card. These cards pop easily into a purse or pocket and go anywhere you go.
Flat watercolor note cards make sweet bookmarks and lunchbox cards.
You can print on the back of these cards to add your personalized message.
You can hand letter on the back of these cards to add your beautiful personalized message!
Print up a stack of these flat cards and pop into stockings for a thoughtful and inexpensive Christmas morning treat.
Well, those ideas should get you started, at least!
